About 18 miles of beach towns in a row: Clearwater Beach, Sand Key, Indian Rocks, Madeira Beach and Treasure Island, ending at Pass-a-Grille's old beach village. Water on one side, palms on the other.
A low, wide-open run across Old Tampa Bay between Tampa and Clearwater, with water on both sides. Time it for sunset and you are driving straight into it.
Climb the golden cable-stayed bridge over the mouth of Tampa Bay, then loop back to Fort De Soto's beaches and the old fort. Bring a few dollars for the bridge toll and park entry.
One of the longest continuous sidewalks in the country runs beside you as you cruise Hillsborough Bay past historic mansions, ending downtown by the Riverwalk.
A coastal run up Alt 19 past Honeymoon Island to the Greek sponge docks. Stop in Dunedin's main street on the way up and for a gyro on the docks at the top.

Anyone who reserves before opening day gets 15% off their rental, for any date this season. A $50 refundable deposit holds your date and the rest is due at pickup.
Not for a Polaris Slingshot. A standard driver's license is enough. The Can-Am Spyder needs a motorcycle endorsement.
Yes. Insurance and 300 miles are included in every rental price. Many Tampa rentals charge $25 to $40 a day extra for insurance; we do not.
